under the old orchard beach pier
Old Orchard Beach, located on the inner side of Saco Bay on the Atlantic Ocean, is a popular summer beach destination, with an amusement park called Palace Playland and the usual tourist-oriented businesses, including clam shacks and t-shirt shops. In 1898, the first Pier was built and over the years, storms and fires have damaged it several times, but this distinctive landmark has always been rebuilt.
