Even more impressive than sunset on this natural stone bridge, are the tide pools surrounding it teaming with life. Sea stars, crabs, and sea anemones flourish in the protective pools that have formed in the rocks. Natural Bridges State Beach is world-renowned for its yearly migration of monarch butterflies, which arrive by the thousands during peak season, usually from mid-October to late January.
