Morning comes to Pigeon Point Lighthouse in Pescadero, California. Built in 1871 to guide ships on the Pacific coast of California, it is the tallest lighthouse (tied with Point Arena Light) on the West Coast of the United States at 115 feet. It is still an active Coast Guard aid to navigation, yet today it is also a hostel. The lighthouse itself is decaying some, so it is fenced in, but the grounds remain beautiful
